2 kayaks on factory crossbars 2011 Subaru Outback

Great job. I wasn't sure what to expect as it's difficult to get direct answers on factory crossbar weights. I have a 2011 Subaru Outback with a factory roof rack and cross bars. I have used this product to haul Wilderness Systems Pamlico 135T (75lb) and Emotion Tide (10ft 3in, 50lb) boats on vacation. INSIDE the kayaks I carried 4 rods, 4 paddles, 4 PFDs and my tackle box. When I placed the kayaks on the car I simply turned them over so the taxis were facing each other and not worried about the things inside falling out could. Miles. It really took me two people to put the kayaks on the racks and hold them and secure them if I was following the directions. It was less necessary when loading for the return trip, but keeping the 13.5ft tandem upright and also tying it to bars is a bit cumbersome. Two sets of different length bolts are included for use with different width crossbars .Even the short ends of the bolts were pretty close to the color for the front cross member. I plan to buy a kit that is slightly shorter than the bolts for future use, but what came with the kit worked fine for it.
