Well another great experience with KYB. I've fitted their Gas-a-Just shocks to quite a few cars over the years. They always work well and last a long time. In fact, I never wore the set. I just sold my car to them and they still work great. I installed these KYB Quick Struts and rear shocks on our 2000 Sable FWD wagon last year - great results, good damping. Handling is firm - not too heavy for a loud ride. If you are looking for super hard Biltstein/Koni, they may not suit you. But they are significantly more precise and durable than ANY factory damper. Our 2000 Tracker 4x4 had the rear shocks toasted (surprisingly the OEM A-pillars are still fine), perhaps because this little SUV is full-time rear-wheel drive, and that's where the action comes in. Either way, the rear end is going to float dangerously, and removing those original, 13-year-old, dead 130,000-mile shocks and replacing them with them made a difference between day and night. The rig is now safe to drive – even downright sporty with the front camber and new tires. We load it with the trunk and 4 passengers and the ride will be perfect. These mufflers are usually only a few bucks more expensive than the "plain" other choice, the Monroe, but I consider this a better quality choice. Carry on in the same spirit. CIB work.
