Review on Performance Intake 63 1561 Lifetime Filter by Dion Jeep

Gap between 2 and 3 stars. I have always used kn products. I've always been happy with the filters, which I think are better than stock filters. But paying an extra $200 for the stuff in this set is too expensive. All the necessary parts were included but I am disappointed that I had to cut the crankcase line on my 2018 Ram and the included knee was very tight. I had to boil water, heat the line to untie it, did this 5 or 6 times before I got far enough to trust the yoke. Frustrated with the Rams' fuel economy, this and my previous experience with the KN made me shake my head for only buying one filter to buy the whole kit. I've been in my car for about 9 months, driving passively, lost over 1mpg when you're only driving 15-16mpg, that's a 7 percent loss in fuel economy, I was hoping that was so hard to justify that it will be positive cost. Performance I can't tell any difference. I also have a 300 with 5.7, bought a kit to go with it, worth every dollar.
