Update 7th Aug '19 I bought this Nov 2016 and do all the maintenance and repairs on our 4 cars. I've used it a few times a week since then, so it's had over 200, maybe 300 jacks on it, whether it's on the rails, crossbars, or suspension components. I've also used it to support my engine, transmission and countless other non-automatic jacks. It is in perfect condition and is around 3 years old and looks like new, no cracks, no warps, no rips. I even moved it onto the rails so that the rail went part way in the groove and part way out of the groove and the rail snapped into place without breaking. The only thing I hate is that I paid about $20 for it back then, it's a little over $16 now, so like I said in my original review, don't think you're going to just buy it. I've detailed the width and pitch of each of the 3 stages below as some reviewers would like to know before purchasing, but given these 3 stages it should fit many jacks. I love it. I have a 3 ton manual jack with a typical bowl/plate jack attachment about 1/2 height with 4 equal slots on the edges that fit exactly like the ridges on the tongue visible as a thin center ring. Never use a plain jack plate, the jack plate is basically a hollow cup shape that holds the entire weight of the car on just 2 points, each side can be 1/8th to 3/16th, so no wonder the welds are crooked, and other frame support members are bent or damaged. I put a piece of wood on top of a cup and/or use some roof tiles (roof tiles are great for the top of coasters) to have a full contact surface, not a bad solution but wood cracks to fiddle with and it's not the most stable setup. So this works great on pinch stitches, a good, long, supported length of hard rubber-like material that offers some cushioning and doesn't crush what you're lifting. This works equally well for celebrities, all of whom are oddly shaped, and provides equally good padding and a full zone of support. Now I can just throw it in my jack which is always there anyway and raise the front of my car slightly by placing it right under the front engine mount and then placing 2 or more jacks at the same time. It's also made from a very strong material that will give a bit but I'm not worried about it tearing or splitting as I've used it so much, there are no dents or signs of wear after around 2 months of heavy use. Don't think of buying it, you will love it. Detailed measurements are below: Measurements, bottom (checkered area) is 4" overall wide and 7/16" thick, next small center step with alternating tabs (this fits the same tab pattern on top/sides of my nest) is 4 -5/8 to 4-7/8 wide, the outer lugs are 1-3/4 long, the inner notches are 1-1/2 long and this pitch is 9/32 thick, the top is 5-1. /2 and 1 inch thick.
