Review on MAX GREEN Upgraded Portable Electric by Jason King

Unexpected bonus!

When I ordered this charger I didn't anticipate that it would come with a carrying case so I meant a special disposable case in case I need to transport it. However, when it arrived it came with a carrying case. It was a nice bonus! After I connected the charger to the wall and my car (Nissan LEAF 2013), there was some sort of communication problem between the two and my car immediately started charging slowly, thinking it should have waited for a fast charge. . I'm not sure if it was a problem with the charger or with my car. However, all that was required was to unplug and plug back in the machine (but not the outlet). After that and since then, charging has been exactly as expected. BUT MY RETURNS WINDOW HAS PASSED. UPDATED RATING TO TWO STARS UNTIL THE COMPANY SEND A REPLACEMENT PART THAT RELIABLY WORKS. 2. UPDATE: The replacement that came with it doesn't charge at level 2, 240v either. I've tried this with both my 2014 Chevy Volt and my 2013 Nissan LEAF. I will be in touch with the company to find out the problem and possibly return it. Just a word of caution about this charger, if you're looking for an outdoor charger (e.g. for camping), this charger has warnings all over it. that the mains plug and charger must be kept indoors. I didn't notice it in the description, but it's not a problem for my purposes. All in all a good charger, great value for money!
