Nice tool, serves its purpose.

So far I haven't had any problems with this jack. The color seems to have come off, but it's not so bad that I'm concerned. Bleed the jack and pour some jack oil in it, it will work great. I have a regular floor jack that goes up just as fast as floor jacks. I have used this on a low car, first raised it with a jack, then used a bottle jack to raise the car even higher, always use jack stands of course, this was done to install a new exhaust system. I recommend putting something on top of the bottle jack, like a board or piece of metal, to distribute the weight so you don't punch a hole in the bottom of your car or truck. I used an aluminum rim bought on eBay. I've included a photo of a bottle jack lifting an SUV to show it can lift a heavier vehicle. The top of the jack can be unscrewed to bring it closer to the floor of the vehicle before lifting. Bottle jacks are slow compared to a floor jack, but they're also cheaper and can climb just as high to get the job done. So unless you run a profitable garage, you should be fine and always use jacks.
