Not bad if you take it for what it is

Not a bad monocular, not a quality DSLR with a $5000 lens on the front. Picture quality is good not great, video is good but not great. It's good for a day at the lake or for bird watching. I'm impressed with how quickly it turns on. The menu takes a little getting used to. My main complaint is the lack of manual settings. I would prefer to focus manually. then exposure settings. But this suggests that not everything is so bad so far. I don't like the fact that I had to provide my own charger, or the fact that they give you a USB-C to USB-C cable. I took it out and in fact I didn't have a USB-C port on the back of the battery. It's easy to fix, but I really feel like I don't need to do this. Wishes for the next model: I wish for a tripod mount, I wish for manual focus. a 100/400 focal length jump is fine, makes it easy, but for some it might be nice to take a few more steps. I want the optics to be a bit wider, like 800 before the zoom. An integrated lens cap would have been nice, but could have made it a little clunky. A pouch or belt holster wouldn't hurt either. Oh, and it might be nice to shoot RAW files, JPG files average around 3MB each or less. I'd like more detail but that doesn't hurt as I said you should take it for what it is. It's not for everyone, but if you want a good monocular that you can take photos and videos with, then it's worth it. I haven't found anything better than twice the price. What I hate most is the lack of manual focus, but I encourage you to find me a digital monocular that has a camera as good as the camera. I bought it thinking it was a toy and I could return it. However, I was pleasantly surprised. He deserves a place with me when I walk in the park to watch the birds.

Pros
  • Autofocus (Continuous in playback mode; face tracking available during video).
Cons
  • boring packaging
