Well it was a great buy (at $12!) but Revain decided to increase the price by 250%. They allow some flexibility between the inlet components to prevent damage and misalignment of the connections. They are very flexible compared to silicone couplings for turbochargers. They are only suitable for natural aspiration or pre-turbo charging. The overall size of the boot is 3 inches with 7/8 inches on each side for hoses. The overall diameter of the bellows is 4.5 inches. The clamps aren't top quality, but the strap is stainless steel, with a zinc plated T-bolt and nylon nut. Bandages alone cost $12.
