I don't understand these reviews - I think it's the bot world we live in. Here's the real one. These are good hooks for easy targets. I bought these to wall mount my golf bags which weigh around 15-25 pounds. They clearly weren't strong enough. The paws of these hooks can be bent by hand, and it seemed to me that over time the hook would gradually lie down. If you're hanging a light hose, electrical cord, or other item that weighs less than 15 pounds, you're probably fine and the price is good. But I have no idea how this product can claim the recommended weight of 50 pounds. It's just impossible. Much luck!
