Got a stubborn Keihin GCV 160 carburetor after cleaning it according to a YouTube video?

After following 55 Ford cleaning procedures on YouTube I've had a decent few hours of work with the GCV160 on my pressure washer. but after a few months of storage it started to perform poorly and then it ran out of breath and died under load. Carburettor removed and cleaned again. and noticed that the seals were in poor condition. and this Keihin (OEM) carburetor requires air to move through these seals to ensure float fill and proper airflow to maintain good fuel performance under load. Notice the hole from the side of the air filter to the motor head adapter? So I ordered this gasket kit from 2LCStore store. Installed last night. and the engine started on the first compression stroke at TDC and ran ABSOLUTELY smooth for an hour while I was cleaning the wheels on my X5. No spattering, backfiring, tipping or jerking. smoothly, just like a Honda should run. or as good as a Briggs & Stratton vertical shaft industrial engine. Any description is suitable for you. So buy a new carburetor if necessary, BUT REPLACE those gaskets! And make sure air can flow through the carburetor to keep the gas in the float bowl at the right level for full power under load. You may notice an excessive amount of glue used to hold the carburetor air cleaner head adapter assembly together, particularly in the air duct that is molded into the head adapter. CLEAR! Plus, here in Texas, the little spiders and wasps love to crawl into those holes and plug them up. If this air passage is not clear, your float chamber will not be able to equalize with outside air pressure and the engine will suck it into a vacuum. Vapor blocks the carburetor and stalls the engine. until it fills up and you pull the starter rope again. As the fuel moves up and down in the tank, air has to take up space above the fuel and it flows through that small hole in the carburetor inlet and exits through the black head adapter. Bad seals interfere with air movement, and this is enough to cause serious problems with the GCV160's operation. Yes. We have a mixture of alcohol and other petroleum by-products that is now referred to as gasoline, but careful handling of the fuel and emptying the float bowl after each use will keep your GCV160 running well with its delicate Keihin carburetor.
