They are great summer driving gloves! The tie on the back makes them perfectly breathable on hot summer days. No wonder these gloves were the go-to choice for racers in the 50's and 60's. The leather on these gloves is surprisingly soft, but doesn't feel fragile at all. The leather also appears much thinner than it actually is, so that the reinforced areas do not apply or impair the feeling on the steering wheel. I've worn them for a very sweaty few days and they don't get stiff or show any damage from sweat. So far they hold up much better than the actual "driving" gloves I've tried.
