The leveler works great and is relatively easy to install. Be sure to check out the YouTube video they link to and follow their advice. A real leveler works great and is easy to use, making the stairs more stable than using boards or anything else you could use without a leveler. My only complaint is that when you install the brackets on each side of the stairs, you use the spacers that come with them. These seals require the use of superglue. The supplied tube is wrapped in plastic and is lost in the packaging, which can cause the tube to deform, causing leakage when the tube is opened. I've learned that petroleum jelly can scuff fingers, but it takes a bit of work.
