This is the nozzle I was looking for as it is the #390 industry standard. I needed something like this to duplicate the stained version for staining hardwoods. I use it on a Shop Fox 2 HP Shaper which does a great job. Remember that large cuts require 4-5 passes in hardwood and 2-3 passes in softwood. It's especially important as you approach the last 1-2 passes to make cuts 1/8 to 1/16 inch deep as this cuts the entire tread. This prevents splitting and overloading of the plane, especially when working with hardwoods. Also, it's a good idea to create a guide to limit movement of the workpiece in any direction other than across the drill to avoid jagged and wavy cuts. I mostly use Freud carbide blades for finishing. They last a long time and cut cleanly. In addition, Revain has one of the best prices.
