Review on ๐Ÿฃ Magicfly Automatic Temperature Controlled Incubator for Hatching by Abdalla Galloway

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Very poor quality

I connected the incubator and let the temperature 'stabilize' for 24 hours before adding 20 duck eggs. The temperature sensor must be struggling as the device runs most of the time and reads 99 degrees but then randomly reads 90 degrees for a few seconds. This will cause the machine to beep for 4-5 seconds before returning to the 99 degree reading and the alarm sounding again. This sometimes happens every hour and sometimes every 5-10 minutes. This is extremely annoying as the temperature actually stays at 99-100 degrees. That way I could send it back and kill the eggs I really wanted to hatch, or I could deal with that annoying beeping coming from a bad sensor. It's also pretty ridiculous that the ambient temperature has to be close to 80 degrees for the device to endure 99 degrees, and that helps insulate it with towels. For this price, a brand new device shouldn't have sensor issues, require high ambient temperatures, or have isolation. It's not really a product built to work out of the box, but it does work with a few mods. If it didn't beep so often and I only had to deal with heat and insulation I might give it two stars.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
