I first tried this line of cookware about a year ago,because I liked that they sounded virtually indestructable. My husband has been cooking a lot more and gets iritated if I ask him to use a silicone spatula on the non-stick. Our daughter is a chef who has worked at several 5 star restaurants and enjoys trying creative things. I think she has inspired him, which is not a bad thing, except that my KitchenAid non-stick looks like mice had a skating party in it. The Ninja Foodie does not. After a year I can say that it really does stand up to use, and abuse.That's not all I like about it though. It does hold and distribute heat well. It is well designed, not just pleasant to look at, but nice to cook with. Even though I have a lot of high end cookware, this is just about my favorite. It is definitely my favorite non-stick.I replaced a lot of my cookware with Calphalon over the years, but actually like this line better, and am now gradually replacing my Calphalon with Ninja Foodie.To be truthful I had not expected to like it as much as I do. It performs really well. It is easy to use, clean, maintain. It is well designed in ways which make it easier to cook. The handles do not get hot (like Calpahlon) and it can be used on an induction cook top! {Something blew out in our kitchen and it took close to a year to get an electrician. During that time we used an induction burner and I love it, intend to get an induction cook top in our next house). so I pay attention to whether or not cookware can be used on an induction cook top, because I see one in myt future ;)With it's high heat tolerance it can be used near anywhere: gas, electric or induction and in the oven as well.I feel like I am gushing, but, really I do like the Ninja Foodie cookware a great deal, and just looking at the shape of this frying pan reminds me of why.
