Received and connected with no relay, worked great and was noisy. This is a higher horn, but it's still audible. When I hooked up the relay for my final install, the relay didn't work at all and it looked and felt cheap and didn't have a lot of hoses in it so your pump MUST be nearby unless you get more hoses. For people who need direction that isn't given, you should first know what's positive and what's negative, but if you know you should be in good shape.
