Cheap wood, stripped screws
Got this for a gift for my wife. It looks like the pictures (this warning 3 stars) but it’s actually made of balsa or basswood — like what they make model airplanes out of. That means the screws don’t grab at all and I predict the hooks and wind glass shelf strip out quickly.I’m a woodworker and my first inclination was to just build this for my wife but convenience got the best of me, soI ordered it.All I basically got from this purchase was a template — I won’t be able to live with myself knowing these glasses will come crashing down at some point. They could have made this out of pine and it would have been a lot stronger.
