Hello everyone. I load diesel generators 70KVA-220KVA. I bought this meter (CL900) because I needed a power meter and couldn't afford a Fluke. And this is Klein's best clamp meter. I bought the meter about 2 months ago. And after 2 weeks of use, the frequency setting stopped working. He jumped from 60 to 100, then down and back up. I said it was ok, I could get the frequency reading from the loading block, so I kept using it. Time has passed. Everything has worked great until today. I was reading output tips when all of a sudden I saw 240/5/240. I thought the alternator was no longer running under full load! So I checked the panel to see the voltmeter reading on the alternator and it showed 240 on all three pins. So I said, um, and I took a current clamp with no clamps and I measured the voltage with it, and it read 240/240/240, and I said, God, now the voltage setting on the clamp doesn't work? Of course it was. Now 2 settings on the CL900 don't work. The first review says it's made in China, not the US :/ it's true. I will be returning it and buying a Southwire clamp meter or possibly Fluke cus Klein which disappointed me.
