Everything else about this Klein Tools cl900 is good but I bought this clamp meter for a purpose of measuring AC current without tripping chains and what Not. It doesn't read any of my AC power cords at all. I've followed the instructions that came with it, but to no avail. The screen only shows 0.0.

I'm willing to spend whatever it takes to get it all. I bought the CL900 and as soon as I opened the box I knew it would be back. There was no room at the top of the linear model to hold a probe on the loop. Honestly, why would you exclude a feature that's included in all of your cheaper models? I immediately returned it and bought the CL800. Klien, you don't need 10 identical models. Just do 3 or 4 and the 4th will be the best. I have had this meter for a long time and I have to say that between features and accuracy this device is worth every penny. If you need one gauge that can do it all, this is it. I have a Fluke 28ii, which is much larger than this one. Small is faster and very accurate, but has many more features. Great gauge! Hello everyone. I load diesel generators 70KVA-220KVA. I bought this meter (CL900) because I needed a power meter and couldn't afford a Fluke. And this is Klein's best clamp meter. I bought the meter about 2 months ago. And after 2 weeks of use, the frequency setting stopped working. He jumped from 60 to 100, then down and back up.
