Real quality and excellent design. They are far superior to any other compression hose I have ever owned. I seem to remember that they were more expensive than others, but they are worth it. They are softer and thicker and easier to apply. Not stiff and smooth like others that require more force to tighten. With my notched rubber gloves, I was able to easily slide these socks over my feet, ankles, and both shins (didn't work). They are very comfortable and elegant. It's great to have a different color toe, sole and heel from the rest of the stockings. When wearing other all black stockings, I often find it difficult to maneuver the heel of the stocking onto my heel - they are all the same color. I often have to make adjustments to get the heel fit right, in part because a stretched heel is hard to see during use when the fabric is stretched. However, thanks to the different color markings, it is easy to see and guide the heel of the stocking to my heel with a simple movement. My new Run Forever Sports socks are black with light gray seams on the toes, sole and heel. One problem: I ordered 20-30 mmHg compression. However, the compression number is not listed on the box with the stocking. I don't want to think that the ease of putting them on is because the compression ratio of these stockings is less than 20-30. Is it possible that these socks are only for running and not for therapeutic compression?
