Solid Threaded Inserts
These inserts work great when installed in 4" x 4" pine legs - using a Forstner bit and an ez-lok installation tool with a Milwaukee cordless drill. I had to finish a few with a wrench as the drill was having a hard time fully inserting the last pair of threads.
