OK so let me start off by saying I’ve installed window films before although they were the inside kind but these are awful to install it’s like trying to install sticky tinfoil and then trying to cut it against your window and half the time it tears into the window as you’re trying to cut it. Now I followed directions, scraped window pain and cleaned off everything I could. When I finally had it up I was very pleased, really felt like it reduced heat coming in. Now that being said I installed the first batch at the beginning of March, second batch 4 weeks later and just about 2 weeks ago did a third batch of windows. And then I realized that the first batch had lost all of its reflectivity in 4 months and is now just a clear film no mirror effect, no tint oh and obviously no heat reflection. And second batch is more than 1/2 way to clear. Now I wouldn’t have minded the insane amount of work if these had lasted, I figured we would get three or four years out of it since it’s designed so it says for outside for this very purpose I’m so angry because outside of the purchase price it was loads of work! Do not waste your money and energy and buy this product!
