Review on 🔧 Optimized Fuel Filter: Mr. Funnel AF3CB by Will Kern

March 28th 2018 I have been storing ethanol blended fuel for about 6 months, during which time I have bought a new car and have been wary of filling it with stored petrol. I was afraid there would be water and metal residue from the tanks. So I bought Mr. Funnel.funnel to skip gasoline. Definitely filtered out some visible particles. Important Note: Be aware of the GPM flow rate in the funnel you are purchasing. I used 5 gallon fuel tanks on my car. At times the funnel was overloaded. At first I thought it was clogged but eventually ran out of fuel. A bit of strenuous work as holding a full 5 gallon metal gas cylinder in the exact opposite orientation to the funnel required a lot of fine motor skills for about 4 minutes to empty the gas cylinder. And also some petroleum residues at the bottom of the oil pan that cannot pass through the filter. It's a good 2-3 ounces. Update: 4-22-18 Filled the funnel to the top of the hydrophobic filter screen and waited for the water to come out the other end. I avoided spraying directly on the mesh. No drop of water came out BUT I removed the extension cord and found a drop of water there. The filter held most of the water, so that's good. There is nothing STA-BIL cannot take care of. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMBINED FILTER FUNNEL (and STA-BIL😒). This was a stress test and clean water was put into the funnel to see if it was slightly water permeable, with an efficiency of 98%. In real life you would not encounter anything like this unless someone wants to come to you.
