I don't know how I missed the fact that they are plastic, but that was just one of the questions. I originally bought these for a candy buffet but when I found out they are plastic I decided not to use them. Instead, I used them to store floral arrangements. The problem is they were losing water EVERYWHERE. So be careful if you are thinking of using them to store liquids. That's probably not a good idea.
