Review on Torin Steel Rotating Engine Stand: BIG RED T26801, 360 Degree Head, Foldable Frame, 3/4 Ton, Red - 1,500 lb Capacity by Ernest Etienne

I'm building a supercharged 454 Chevy Iron Head engine. Total weight should be around 850-900 pounds. But even with only the long block mounted, the "750#" stand I used slowly sagged; I needed something better. It looks like this will do the job just fine. HEAVY construction, easy assembly, clearly thought-out design. The fact that it basically folds in half for storage is a great bonus. Note: When it arrived the box was CUT, parts fell out. I immediately reassembled it to make sure all the pieces were in place - and unbelievably, they WAS. I don't know if it was the carriers fault or just (slightly unreliable packaging) for such a heavy device. Since all the parts were in stock and miraculously undamaged, I still give it five stars.
