Bought a while ago. Apply it yesterday. Wow. It works really great. Slow drain now sucks in water. Wonderful. Highly recommended. Usage Tips. 1) Buy this size for your sink (the sink where you brush your teeth, etc.) 2) Get a standard garden hose. 3) Purchase a faucet adapter that has male faucet threads and male hose threads (e.g. NEOPERL 571493 at Home Depot. If your faucet has a smaller female thread, you may need a different part number). Buying a faucet adapter is critical to success when delivering water from your home. If not, run a hose from the outside pipe into the house, but this is more difficult and requires two people as you have to turn on the water supply slowly and make sure the drain cleaning chamber stays tight in the drain pipe. 4) If the aerator that was removed to install the adapter has water deposits, soak it in a cup of vinegar for about 30 minutes to remove the deposits before reinstalling. 5) Before inserting the drain cleaning chamber into the drain pipe, remove the sink drain plug lever assembly under the sink in the drain line (this will probably need to be done to remove the sink drain plug anyway). When cleaning the drain line, keep it on and make sure the drain cleaning chamber covers the open hole (otherwise, water may leak out during the cleaning process). 6) If you see a lot of hair/dirt in the drain that can be removed by hand, remove it wearing thin plastic gloves and discard it. Forcing a drain might work, but probably isn't a good idea. 7) Slowly turn on the cold water supply (do not use hot water supply) and let the drain cleaning chamber do what it is meant to do by running it for a few minutes to fully flush the line and push everything downstream. I was amazed how well it worked. I will buy a bigger one for the shower drain. I recommend this product for those with slow draining sinks.
