Review on Phocas Software by Jesse Diaz

We use phoca mainly to create complex dashboards within our product portfolio management (PPM) module, as well as more ad hoc reports when necessary. The platform has an easy-to-use UI and is very configurable for customisations based upon individual needs/design preferences.We can't find anything that we dislike at this time but there are several improvements / enhancements / new features planned which seems quite ambitious if we dare hope they would get released in Q1 2019! Great support from the staff team too. Our key challenges have been around reporting requirements and insights for business users with regards for data analytics across the full range of products used by our customers, across multiple geographies and channels. I like that it's very easy to use, you can easily export data into spreadsheets for analysis or presentation purposes as well. It doesn't work with all databases so be careful when deciding which one is best suited for this software! The interface could look nicer but other than that there are no complaints from me about using phoca in any way. We're trying out analytics software while looking at ways we might improve how our business operates by gathering more information.
