I needed a WiFi hotspot to send a signal to a neighboring building. Mesh systems don't work because of metal roofs and thick walls. I needed a transmitter that connected directly to my router. My fiber optic connection is raging at 100 Mbit/s. With a 5G antenna I can receive at least 90% of what is in a building 25 m away. I had no luck with the 2.4G antenna.
