Review on Stens 435 180 Voltage Regulator Replaces by Pop Henneghan
The problem is solved.
Part works properly 35V AC input, 14.3V DC output. John Deere lx289 2005 version. I also put in a new #51 battery, now everything works fine. A bad battery could have caused the voltage regulator to fail due to the original not charging problem.
