Review on 🍳 Lagostina Martellata Copper Cookware Set, 10-Piece, Hammered Tri-Ply Stainless Steel, 18/10 by Crystal Gonzalez

After 40 years of marriage and having the same tableware I received for my wedding, I've decided that I definitely deserve new tableware. After a long search I decided on a hammered copper set from Lagostina. Not only are these pans beautiful and look impressive, they are by far the best pans I have ever used. I use a gas stove and the pans take a minute or two to heat up, but heat evenly and maintain a consistent temperature. I use them for everything from homemade soups in a pot to scrambled eggs in a pan. Boiling sensitive sauces is just as flawless as fast frying at high heat. The roux was easy to make and I wasn't worried about it getting too brown. I haven't burned anything yet and I cook a lot! Cleaning is a breeze. Even the dirtiest dirt is removed with soapy water. Sometimes we soak pans for 5 minutes to soften the burnt parts, but then they wipe off immediately. We've only had the pans for 4 months so I've only used the copper cleaner once. I have to say I think I'd rather leave them in a worn look than bright brass. These pans are beautifully finished and will last forever. The only thing that worries me is that they come with metal lids and I would prefer glass lids to keep an eye on what's going on inside. But I still love cooking with them!
