Ordered these for a pull out bed from the back of our trailer. They work well but are definitely low-tech. The two-piece design (inner and outer sleeve) is confusing, with seemingly unimportant adjustment screws. In addition, storage means that they are either screwed down to the smallest size - which takes a lot of time and not so little - or stay screwed - long and bulky. With all of that, they do what they need to do for a reasonable price. I questioned the stability, thinking I had one properly tightened, and went back to see it on the floor - probably more floor than item.
