A month after I bought it to replace my ceiling fan remote battery, it died. Installed the second one and now it works perfectly. So the problem is with the battery, not the remote control. They don't come in the manufacturer's packaging but in a small plastic bag with simple writing. The expiration date printed on it showed "25", so it's possible it's a bad battery or the packaging is mislabeled. I have requested a replacement, the seller has responded and in a few days I will receive a replacement. At the moment I would recommend the seller, let's see how the replacement works. Update 9/25/21: replacement arrived on 8/6/2021, as of 9/25/2021 I used one and the second. These really are the most outdated batteries I've ever seen. I know the seller was responsive to the first pair running out of juice so quickly, but the second pair works just like the first. Now I will look for another source, so I cannot recommend this seller.
