Review on 🚴 Giro Isode MIPS Adult Road Cycling Helmet: Lightweight Protection for Enhanced Safety by Napoleon Robbie

I really liked this helmet when I took it out of the box. I loved how I felt its light weight and looked at the wonderfully placed vents. I liked it when I put it on my head and saw how good it looks. However, I stopped liking it after about 30 seconds when I felt pressure on my temples. My head is larger: 57-59cm depending on how you measure - but still within the recommended range for this helmet and (I like to think) not super oddly shaped. In fact, there were many "big" adjustable sizes compared to my head size, but the helmet itself (aka the foam shell, not the internal adjustable straps) dug into my temples so uncomfortably that after a few minutes I got a mild headache had of wearing. If that happens when I'm sitting at my desk, I can only imagine how uncomfortable a helmet would be 50 miles from a trip. Unfortunately I will be returning this helmet and going with Register's recreational model in XL instead (as this street model doesn't come in XL) - although my head size is dangerously close (1-4 clicks) to the smallest setting for this size+ model.
