YOU CANNOT MAKE THIS MONOPOD FOR THE PRICE OF

Okay my experience, I'm a master photographer/filmmaker. I photograph about 50-60 weddings a year. I have $500 Sirui monopods, they fail after a season, screws loosen, heads start squeaking, sections start closing due to carbon fiber twisting and I have to take the FNG apart. So I decided to try this one hey for 1/3 the price I should have tried. I have understood. First the head was NOT the same as the Manfrotto records. for me it was a deal breaker. I emailed the Cayer CS and a few hours later got a reply: YES we are aware of the issue and we will send you a new head free of charge which is correct the first batch was a bit wrong (the plate kept working but the manfrotto were too loose and the locking knob wouldn't tighten enough to lock it anyway got a new head within 2 days WORKS GREAT! Now for my first flight. Right after my first day of the Usage. And I can say It's TAAAA worth $$.It's so light, legs are big enough to put my 8k 1dxmkii 24-70 down safely and get away from it.Now the parts are good,it goes deeper than Shirui , it pops out FASTER than shirui , and the tilt mechanism at the bottom is MUCH faster than shirui, i literally change modes in under 10 seconds, with shirui i was scared and 90% or the time i didn't get the tilt shot i wanted because it was too much hassle now for the bride's house i'll take it FIRST! things will change after a few works, i'll update this post if you don't hear from me again, that means this mono does its own thing in harsh environments! :-)
