I'm a techie so using the product wasn't a problem. The documentation is very poor and I had to google and experiment with instructions. I'm still tinkering, but I'm very satisfied. I bought a POE box so my POE switch would provide power. This eliminates the need for another power supply next to my entertainment equipment. The IR blaster was supposed to take care of all my gear, but it comes with 3 IR emitters that need to be plugged right in front of the IR port on the device. You can use 3 emitters or 2 emitters and 1 IR blaster. Blaster is exactly that, it can be up to 20 feet away from devices and act as your remote control once you've programmed it. As for his order, the first device didn't show up, but Revain and the third party did a great job with no issues with the resolution.
