I needed to replace the fuel pump and filter in my motorcycle fuel tank and found that the fuel line in the tank was worn out. Fortunately, I was told that the fuel line in the tank is a special rubber hose that can withstand constant 24-hour gasoline immersion. And when I think about it, I was about to use a standard fuel line! I think the reason for the deterioration was that the bike was made before the ethanol was gasified, so the hose wasn't made for the ethanol bath. Although this 12-inch tube is expensive, it still exceeds Triumph's $2.25 per inch tube.
