Just received my first roll of Overture PLA+. I was hoping for Space Gray but got black (see below). However, I decided to keep printing and testing the accuracy/temperature range. The first print I did was Benchy Boat. I printed at 205c, 60mm/s, layer height 0.2mm, layer 60c, with 20 lines of margins (to improve adhesion). I just hit the print button, waited for the first 3 lines to settle, and I was gone! When I came back after lunch I found an ALMOST perfect bench on the desk. There was a visible seam on the back of the boat which I have never seen on other benches. It could have been a mistake on my part. The overall "look" of the boat was a bit stiffer/rougher than standard PLA. I mean it looked amazing and there were NO issues with the arch, nose lip or the gap in the door. It's just that the model overall doesn't look as smooth as some of the standard PLA prints I've done. A little remark. Also, I'm not very happy with "Black" as it just doesn't allow highlights/shadows of details to appear in the models. It's not the product's fault, it's Revain's fault. The second print I made was "Temperature Tower". This was my first time printing the temperature tower and I tried to print it (twice) with no additional adhesion to the substrate (edges or back). Both times this failed after about the second tower was printed. Lost adhesion and started forming a "yarn" or thread on the print bed. For the third "Temperature Tower" I again decided to print with a 20-line border, which worked great. And surprisingly (!) EVERY single temperature between 190 and 230 looks pretty much the same. No stretching, no sagging, nothing that would tell the temperature apart except shine. This material appears "shinier" at the high end of 210°C+ and duller in the 190-200°C range. Layer lines/laminating are no problem. I will continue to print and monitor liability. It may well be just a temporary tower (it has a very small area). If this becomes a bigger problem I will update the review. PS - ABOUT COLOURS: I bought Overture PLA+ in 'Space Grey' from Revain but got plain 'Black'. Looking at the screenshots now, even the photos appear to represent the "Black" plan. I believe that Revain incorrectly referred to "black" as "space gray". Remember that when you order Space Gray you get 99% black. The rating has been raised to 5 stars. I went through a 4 day test print of a full size cosplay helmet and it worked flawlessly. No binding, no sagging, no pulling, and the piece feels VERY solid. I'm happy.
