I bought a 10ft x 20ft canopy from Revain that was supposed to be waterproof. As soon as it started to rain, the shed leaked immediately - a brand new car in the shed looked the same as it did outside. I then covered the roof of the canopy with a "heavy polyethylene tarp" from White Duck Outdoors. I may have spent $300 on a trash canopy, but in an emergency, White Duck Outdoors saved the day. the canopy was wiped dry - with a tarp as a new roof over the leaky canopy - the inside of the canopy and the car were left perfectly dry. At that time we had 12 inches of snow and the magnificence of the tarp was evident - the snow slides off the roof easily - the smoothness of the tarp was very important. Over the years I have used different brands of tarps to cover tractors, firewood and other outdoor situations. From now on I only use White Duck outdoor tarps.
