I had the same problem, many others have reported that replacement parts don't fit. In fact, I even sent one set back, thinking maybe it was a "bad day at the mill". Then I started looking at the holes and they seemed bigger than before. I don't know from the many replacement kits I've used, the excess sun over the years, or the orioles that figured out how to push the flower out of the feeder. But in the end I decided it probably wasn't the manufacturer. So I ordered another set and they were too small for the holes as well, confirming it was because of my old feeder and not the new replacement colors. But I was able to find a solution and hopefully it will help others who just want to get another year out of their hummingbird feeder before buying a new one. Turn the yellow flower over, take the back of a table knife and spread the clip so it's wider than the hole. Now insert into the enlarged hole. It won't be perfect, but it will allow you to get another season from your feeder. Then go ahead and buy another Perky Pet Hummingbird Feeder. Your lobsters won't regret it. And you too.
