Review on DeLonghi TRRS0715E Digital Radiant Operation by Sarah Dionne

I bought this unit to keep my daughter's nursery at a constant temperature. The Eco mode promises "optimal comfort". I set the unit to 71 degrees, just a few hours later the room was 62 degrees and the heater didn't even get hot! I contacted support and after troubleshooting confirmed that my device was NOT defective and had no way of detecting the room temperature despite the misleading "thermostat". Attached are two photos showing that the device is not working, but DeLonghi Service considers this to be normal. The first image shows a room temperature of 72.1 (the top number on the handpiece) and the heater is set to 82. The yellow light below 82 indicates it is heating. When the temperature is set to 77, the heater turns off (no yellow indicator) even if the room temperature is still 5 below the set value.
