I'm new to crocheting so I'm sure there are ways to solve this problem. I got this yarn for a pair of knee high yoga socks and used each ball whole. I got frustrated after going through the entire second sock and found that the second ball of yarn was short, both at the bottom of the sock and at the top (obviously as indicated by the color and height). Maybe I'm being too picky about the expected variations? I think I want to start with a short ball to avoid options and possible rework.
