I removed my wifi router which was connected directly to the internet modem. I already had internet tethering in bridge mode, so I just connected one of the WiFi mesh cubes after getting the temporary WiFi password from the bottom of the cube. I then launched the RS Wifi app and connected to a temporary Wi-Fi connection to continue with the setup. I was prompted for the PPPOE userid and password that I entered and then for the Wi-Fi name and password that I want to set up. I entered the same Wi-Fi name and password that I used on the remote router. All existing devices connect to the new WiFi as if it were the old one, even my smart garage door opener/monitor connects automatically despite being limited to 2.4GHz. I have two other Wi-Fi boxes and my desktop computer connected. in one, eliminating the need for a Wi-Fi adapter on this computer. I see excellent signal strength on all three floors of my home (3800 square feet including the garage). All in all everything was up and running in less than 5 minutes.
