Review on Nutricost Whey Protein Isolate Unflavored by Kevin Reyes

READ THIS, REGARDLESS OF THE REVIEWS!

At first I was very happy with this product. It mixed well and tasted great. To be honest I'm happy to please and none of the protein powders I've tried have left me unhappy. After moving through a 5lb container for about 20 days, I started getting gritty, weird particles that didn't mix - maybe a full teaspoon. Today I got to the bottom inch of the container and found my protein bottle almost 1/4 full of disgusting gritty plasticine-like chunks that don't mix, dark brown/black chunks, and hard chunks. Parts that look like plastic. Upon further investigation, the rest of my container is almost empty of this material. None of it dissolved no matter how long I stirred it. I even ran it through the blender on HIGH for a minute! I never write reviews, good or bad, and I usually get them, but this is just awful. I've tried at least 10 different whey isolates over the years. I've bought over 200 pounds of whey protein in my life. I have to say my experience this morning was terrible! But now it's been more than 30 days and I'm not entitled to a refund. At the very least, Nutricost doesn't have great quality control, and if a company can make a product like this, god knows what they're sending through their factory. If you look at the other reviews you will find similar ones to mine - some even have pictures of what I went through. I'm not the first person this has happened to, and certainly not the last. Be careful - you may have had a good run with this product before, but sooner or later you'll end up with sand, clay and plastic in your mouth! Such a shame.
