Review on πŸ”© Aluminum Pocket Hole Jig Set with Base and 40 Accessory Pieces – The Ultimate All-in-One Solution by Carlos Burrows

Decent mount - guide bushings slightly loose

I made a small mount bracket out of 3/4 plywood and a few 1/2 inch pieces of plywood on either side and attached the mount with a large area. washers to align it with the top. I drilled about 100 pocket holes with it after using a bit of scrap and getting exactly the depth I wanted. This jig has thin guide bushings and the bit swings more than my Kreg jigs. I even tried my Kreg nozzle but the guide bushings are not very good. I hope to find a better pair to upgrade this device later. There were always small gaps on the right side of the holes. My first guess is that it has to do with play in the bushings, but I'd like to try this with a higher speed drill to see if that helps. I could just dedicate a corded drill to that goal. The vacuum nozzle is top notch. I've never drilled pocket holes with a vacuum attached and now I don't want to be without it. Luckily, I had several attachments that fit the outlet without an additional purchase. I was choosing between this mount I saw on YouTube with another brand (I think) of an Armor or Kreg tool mount. I finally went with this because it seemed the strongest and the simplest in construction with fewer breakable parts. It looked like something I could adjust if needed.
