Works as advertised. Check 40G, 10G and 1G speeds over cable with either a certified patch panel or a direct connection. The quality of the cable is consistent with other cables advertised as Cat 8. The cable is quite flexible considering its thickness. The Rj45 case has a high quality metal shell, the protective case seems to be shorter than others, but that's enough given the greater rigidity than the standard category 6 due to the diameter. The notch on the protective cover is long enough to properly hook the cable lock and short enough not to interfere with the work of the plugs even in RJ45 sockets recessed in the housing. and generating a lot of heat, these cables don't seem to tolerate that heat, unlike some other brands I've noticed that they can be warm or even hot when removed. which are needed. I have tested these cables on the following brands of equipment; Cisco, Brocade, Intel, Broadcom and Aruba. I was able to connect and play with 40G, 10G, and 1G links. I assume 10/100 would work as well, but I'm out of stale connections that are slow to test. The product arrived in a sealed transparent bag tightly wrapped with a one twist tie. Five stars.
