I don't write many reviews, but after seeing some negative reviews on this monitor I just couldn't help but chime in. This monitor wasn't too much of an upgrade for me. I've had a 24" ASUS 1080p 75Hz monitor for a few years and it still looks and works great. My eyesight isn't the best and I found that the ASUS monitor got me closer and closer to my face. I wanted those Don't lower the resolution or increase the font size in Windows. The solution was a larger monitor. I'm very impressed with the performance. I wasn't expecting to notice such a difference from my old monitor. The display is beautifully crisp, the colors see looks fantastic and the responsiveness is very noticeable / FreeSync is very noticeable in games It took some tweaking in AMD menus and drivers to get it right (including FreeSync) I'm pretty sure that alone is the reason for most negative reviews is..The location of the menu buttons didn't bother me too much although it was awkward to press the buttons.Apparently I have to press the j Press any other input twice. Thankfully, you don't have to use it too often. The stand seemed a bit flimsy to me, so I didn't even bother with it. came to my table. Gives me extra height so I can manipulate position as needed. It's hard to beat this monitor at this price point, especially if you have an AMD card that supports FreeSync.
