Review on πŸ’‘ IRWIN Screw Guide Driver with Multi-Bit and Drive Sleeve - 1948776 by Tony Pierce

Nice addition to my tool box

Sometimes I try to get screws into walls by punching a hole with a screw. It's usually something small, like picture hooks, small anchors, or smoke detectors. I used a drill because trying to do it by hand without a starting hole was tedious. With this driver I can just reach for the nearest drawer and do the same without having to go into the drill tools. The sleeve fits over the magnetized tip and holds the screws in place while they are being driven. The sleeve is nice and long so you can put a screw of almost any size in it. The only limitation is the width of the screw head. The quality is pretty good. The rubberized handle provides a good grip when applying extra elbow lubrication. It comes with 5 bit tips. Three Phillips heads and two Flatheads. The only thing that would be better if the handle had a bit of storage space. They seem to lose quite easily if not handled with care. Otherwise a nice addition to my tool box.
