Review on 💪 Enhance Engine Performance with Beck Arnley 037-6183 Intake Manifold Gasket Set by Glen Elevyn

I bought this gasket kit in Spring 2017 when replacing the starter motor on my 2000 Land Cruiser. Before installing the lower intake manifold gaskets, I cleaned and inspected all mating surfaces and torqued to factory specs. The car ran for a year with no problems. About a month ago my LC started idling with errors and dropouts. I finally got the mechanic to do a smoke test and he said the intake manifold was leaking in many places. Today I removed the intake manifold, both gaskets were shattered. They are a sandwich with a metal exterior and a hard plastic core - the plastic core was brittle and cracked in several places. This is totally unacceptable and I will be contacting Beck Arnley directly in addition to writing this review. I am fortunate to be qualified to do this job myself as it is labor intensive and will cost $1,000 at the store or dealer. There is no excuse.
