great for avocados AND eggs

We eat a lot of avocados in our house. It is a good addition to some GOOD fats for our workouts and also good for our heart when consumed in moderation. However, peeling and slicing avocados has always been a headache, as we've always had trouble slicing up at least some (sometimes all of them if they were too ripe) avocados. A good avocado is tender and soft, but unless we want guacamole every time, mashed avocado on top of crunchy romaine lettuce and tomatoes won't be as appealing. easier to cut an avocado. With a good ripe avocado, this slicer can slice them easily. It leaves a little (but not as much as when we scoop it up with spoons and try to crush it). With practice, we can peel the HAAS skin almost completely while leaving very little waste. Avocados don't come cheap, so every little thing helps save you money. how to use it: You still need to use a knife to slice the avocado. in two. Then use the cutting tool to remove the core. Put the plane at the wide end and scrape in one smooth motion without pausing, you seem to get the best results. Not all slices come from the first half. So we'll keep doing this until all the halves are cut, as each of the new halves that are cut will help extract what's left of the previous halves. We gently push out the last half with our palms. Great cut for egg salads. Push the boiled egg through the wide end, then turn the egg over and poke again to make small cubes. Easy and fast! I understand why some people consider this just another gadget in the kitchen, and that may be if you eat avocados very often. And if you're making guacamole in the process, this slicer isn't for you. But if you want to eat healthier and love avocados in your salads rather than slices on cookies (yummy! d'oeuvres] for parties!), this slicer alone is a big help.
