I bought this camera a few years ago and am generally happy with its performance. However, buyers should be aware that on this and all ex-model cameras there is a fatal USB connector fault that causes the USB connector to disconnect from the circuit board. to take pictures to or from the camera. So I'm sure this camera would have continued to perform like a champ without the poorly designed USB connector, but repairs with Flir after the first year of warranty are outrageously expensive, making it almost worth just buying a newer model. With products that cost the same, it would be nice if FLIR realized that a poor design would solve the problem for their customers without charging them excessive fees.
